Dr Gordana Apic, Chairman of the Board
Gordana is a co-founder of CCNet who served as a CEO of CCNet until 2005. She holds a PhD in
Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge, UK and an MSc in Molecular
Biology from University of Heidelberg, Germany. Gordana is currently leading a reasearch team at EMBL in the
field of bioactive peptides and predictive systems based on the network context.

Dr Trevor Jarman, Director of Operations
Trevor specialises in the formation and development of companies in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. He is also involved in Novexin and his previous successful companies include Alizyme plc, PNA Diagnostics A/S and Natures Remedies Ltd.

Dr Frank Bonner, VP Toxicology
Frank has held several senior positions in the pharmaceutical and contract research industries over the past 25 years, including the Senior Director of Toxicology Sterling Winthrop Pharmaceuticals in 1982 (where he established a pre-clinical drug safety testing facility), and Scientific Director of the Sanofi UK Research Centre. Frank was chairman of the British Toxicology Society for many years and on many committees of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry.

Rob Russell, Chief Scientific Officer
Rob was previously head of the Scientific Advisory Board, becoming CSO in 2009. He is currently a Professor in Cell Networks at the University of Heidelberg. Prior to that we was a Group Leader in EMBL Heidelberg, and a Senior Investigator at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals in the UK. He has more than twenty years experience in applying bioinformatics to biomedical problems, and has consults for several other pharmaceutical and biotech companies in Europe and the USA.
